Overview
The fictitious drama "Citizens of Nowhere" is based on actual occurrences. The story centres on Dana, a 60-year-old working-class Caribbean woman who was unlawfully held by the UK government following the "Hostile Environment Policy 2012" on the grounds that she was an unauthorised immigrant.
