Overview
Director Nikolay Stefanov seeks familial reconciliation with the past through investigating the unsolved murder of his father that happened in 1994, just after the fall of the Iron Curtain. But his clash with present-day reality in Eastern Europe reveals the pressing need for collective reconciliation with the region’s post-totalitarian legacy.
