Ardal's journey begins on Rathlin Island in the far north, famous for its countless seabirds and almost mythical golden hare. There, he learns how an astonishing archaeological find has rewritten Irish history.

2. Episode 2

Ardal continues his journey along the rugged west coast to the Aran Islands. Heading south, he lands on the Great Blasket Island, further down to Valentia, and finally to the majestic Skellig Michael UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ardal is in the south, where he discovers beautiful Garnish Island, home to lush gardens and the rare white-tailed eagle. He continues his journey via the sea and meets a pod of common dolphins around Sherkin Island, where pirates once ruled.
